Abstract:Using Yugu 1 as material, a 1 893 bp upstream regulatory sequence of SiRLK35 gene, which named SiRLK35P, was identified by database searching, and was isolated by PCR amplification using genomic DNA of foxtail millet as template.Bioinformatics analysis of SiRLK35P was carried out with PLACE database, and its expression pattern was forecasted. The results showed that several cis-acting elements, such as ABRELATERD1 (ACGT) and GCCCORE (GCCGCC), existed in SiRLK35P, and parts of them were known to be associated with stress responsive processes, which indicated that SiRLK35P might participate in stress response and regulate the expression levels of downstream genes under stress conditions. This research would provide a candidate material for stress resistance improvement and new variety breeding of foxtail millet.
