Abstract：In order to screen out the new distinctive watermelon varieties suitably planted in Dezhou, the biological characteristics, comprehensive resistance, performance and quality characters of 12 introduced distinctive watermelon varieties were comprehensively evaluated.The results showed that the yellow peel and red flesh watermelon variety Jintaiyangwuzi 2, functional watermelon varieties Laikahongwuzi 2 and Zhongxinghong 1 with rich lycopene, and seedless and small and medium sized watermelon varieties Jingling and Mitong had better comprehensive performance, which could be popularized in Dezhou.
