Abstract:To breed the peanut cultivars suitable for cultivation in salt and alkaline lands, 21 new peanut lines including 19 high oleic acid lines were planted in virgin salt and alkaline land in Baicheng City, Jilin Province. The correlation analysis was performed to study the relationships between yield and other main agronomic characters. The results showed that the number of survival plants per plot was positively correlated with yield at 0.01 probability level. The broad sense heritability for number of survival plants per plot was medium to high.Seven high oleic acid peanut lines whose yields were superior to control were selected, among them, the yields of 15S24 and 15S25 both were more than 100 kg per 666.7m2 and that of 15L2 was more than 200 kg per 666.7m2.
