Genetic Diversity Evaluation on Fruiting Characteristics of Okra Germplasms

Abstract：Forty one okra germplasm resources were collected to measure the fruiting characters.Then the genetic diversity was analyzed by cluster analysis and principal component analysis.The results showed that the genetic diversity index of the tested materials was large.The fruit color,yield per plant,pod number,fruit spacing and fruit fresh weight existed larger excavation space.Three groups had been divided by cluster analysis except the No.30 material,each group had advantages of fruit shape,edible quality and yield,respectively.Through the principal component analysis,the cumulative contribution rate of the 4 principal components was 80.252％,which reflected the fruit size,yield,plant height and edible quality respectively.
