Abstract：Using Chaenomeles speciosa,Malus micromalus and Malus halliana as experimental materials, the pollen viability and the influences of storage conditions on pollen viability were studied with in vitro pollen culture.The results showed that the pollen viability of Chaenomeles speciosa and Malus micromalus was higher than that of Malus halliana.There was a declining trend on pollen viability with the extension of storage time. In addition,the pollen could be saved for a longer time under the condition of frozen (-18℃)and cold (4℃)than that under room temperature (25℃).
