Abstract:Using the meteorological conditions required for the growth of tea trees, ten elements from the climate, topography and soil factors were selected as the main factors to impact the growth of tea tree in tea planting area. The different weights were given and the spatial distribution was analyzed using analytic hierar-chy process (AHP).Then the suitable agricultural regionalization based on 90 m ×90 m grid was realized by the geographic information system (GIS)platform for tea planting in Changqing. The results showed that the suitability of whole tea planting was better. Its distribution had obvious spatial differences with the trend of de-crease from southeast to northwest. The most suitable area had no concentrated distribution and mainly distrib-uted in the southern mountain area. The suitable area mainly distributed in the areas around the most suitable area and the northwest region. The little suitable area had scattered distribution in Xiaoli and Guide towns. The local climate suitability was analyzed and located to realize the fine evaluate, which had certain applica-tion value to scientifically guide the tea planting in Changqing District.
