Study on Cutting Propagation Technique of Softwoods of Pteroceltis tatarinowii Maxim

Abstract：With river sand as cutting medium and annual shoots from 2 -year -old mother tree of Ptero-celtis tatarinowii as materials,the influences of different concentrations and treating times of 4 kinds of hor-mones,ABT1,ABT2,special -effect ABT and IBA,and solution of rooting raw powder on cutting effects were studied using cutting woods without any treatment as control.The results showed that the survival rate of Ptero-celtis tatarinowii treated with 250 mol /L solution of rooting raw powder was the highest,which reached to 85%;followed by control treatment with the survival rate of 60%;the survival rates of hormone treatments were rela-tively lower,which ranged from 10% to 50%.The average root number of cutting woods treated with solution of rooting raw powder reached to 18 and the average root length was 7.25 cm,which were superior to other treat-ments.
