Relationship between Aphid -Resistance and Leaf Nutrient Content of Cucumber

Abstract：In order to explore the relationship between nutrient content and aphid -resistance of cucum-ber (Cucumis sativus L.),and provide a theoretical basis for cucumber aphid -resistance identification and resistant variety breeding,the contents and changing rules of nutrients such as soluble sugar,soluble protein, free amino acids and proline in leaves of high resistant material No.118,middle resistant materials No.227 and No.311,and low resistant material No.321 were determined before and after inoculated with aphids.The aphid -susceptible material was taken as control.The results showed that the soluble sugar and proline con-tents in cucumber leaves were positively correlated with the aphid -resistance.While the total content of free amino acids was negatively correlated with the aphid -resistance.And the increment of soluble protein was positively correlated with the aphid -resistance after inoculated with aphids.
