Effects of Soil Organic Matter Content on Seedling Growth of Rice

Abstract：In order to research the effects of soil organic matter content on rice seedling growth,3 types of soil,paddy soil,vegetable soil and deep soil,with different organic matter contents were set for rice cultiva-tion.The results showed that the soil organic matter content had little influence on seed germination while greater effects on seedling growth of rice.The soil organic matter could promote the growth of root,stalk and leaf of rice.All the agronomic traits of rice seedlings appeared as paddy soil group >vegetable soil group >deep soil group.
