Abstract:Using 3 -year -old Kyoho grape plants as materials, the soluble sugar content changes in leaves, phloem and fruits during the berry development were measured under root restriction. The results showed that the composition and contents of soluble sugar in different parts of Kyoho grape were different. The leaves of Kyoho grape fruits mainly accumulated glucose, fructose and sucrose, and their contents had great changes at different stages. The phloem mainly accumulated sucrose(54.63% ~87.66%),and the grape fruits mainly accumulated glucose and fructose (87.19% ~92.90%).The root restriction apparently in-creased the sucrose content in phloem and glucose, fructose and sucrose contents in fruits. At the beginning of maturity stage, the soluble sugar contents in fruits increased rapidly,so it was also the key stage to affect solu-ble sugar accumulation by root restriction.
