Grain Filling and Dehydration Characteristics of Different Maize Hybrids

Abstract：Selecting the maize hybrids,Zhengdan 958,Denghai 605,Jundan 20,Xianyu 335,Denghai 618,Xianyu 688 and Dika 517,widely cultivated in Shandong Province,as materials,the grain filling rate, dehydration rate,kernel moisture content and yield were studied.The results showed that the grain filling rate was different among different maize hybrids.Dika 517,Denghai 618 and Xianyu 688,which had higher yield,owned higher grain filling rate.The grain dehydration rate among different maize hybrids was also differ-ent.Dika 517 had higher dehydration rate and lower kernel moisture content,while Denghai 605 had the low-est dehydration rate.
