IR Analysis on Leaf Component of Tradescantia albiflora and Setcreasea purpurea Boom

Abstract：In order to understand the leaf components and safety of indoor ornamental plants,Tradescan-tia albiflora and Setcreasea purpurea Boom.,taking their leaves as materials,the characteristic peaks were de-tected by IR spectrum analysis method and the component analysis was conducted.The results showed that Tradescantia albiflora and Setcreasea purpurea Boom.had the mutual characteristic peaks at 3 401 (3 369), 2 918(2 924),1 067 (1 057),671 (671)cm -1 ,the corresponding substances were amino acids or protein, terpene compounds,essential oils and cellulose materials.In addition,Tradescantia albiflora had the peculiar characteristic peaks at 1 631,1 380,618 cm -1 ,the corresponding substances were geranyl acetate,terpenoid and lipids.Setcreasea purpurea Boom.had the peculiar characteristic peaks at 2 849,1 641,1 417,1 319 cm -1 , the corresponding substances were lipids,rutin and flavonoids,aromatic compounds and nucleic acids.
