Abstract:A comparative analysis of the soluble salt content in needle mushroom residue before and after fermentation was carried out.Furthermore, some peat soil in nursery substrate was replaced with mushroom residue after fermentation to study the effects of different dosages of mushroom residue on cucumber seedling growth. The results indicated that the soluble salt content in mushroom residue after fermentation reduced sig-nificantly.Replacing 10% ~60% peat soil with mushroom residue after fermentation all could guarantee the normal growth of cucumber seedling.
