Differential Analysis of MADS -box Genes during Dedifferentiation of Wheat Immature Embryo

Abstract：The expression profiles of MADS -box genes during dedifferentiation of wheat immature em-bryo were firstly analyzed using wheat gene chip technique.Total 20 MADS -box genes were detected,among which,14 genes were down -regulated and 6 genes presented mixed expression.Down -regulated expression of most of these MADS -box genes indicated that they might have strong inhibitory effects during the differenti-ation of wheat immature embryo.Besides,the 12th hour was a key expression period of these MADS -box genes.The expression profiles of 4 genes,including CA670406,CK213813,CA608865 and AB107992, were verified by semi -quantitative RT -PCR technique,which were basically consistent with those of wheat gene chip.
