Comparison of Three Genomic DNA Extraction Methods from Animal Skins

Abstract：With the dry samples of donkey skin as experimental materials,one method was established to extract the whole genomic DNA using SDS -protease K and Chelex -100 combined with Glass Milk for DNA purification technology innovatively.And then,this method was compared to the method for DNA extraction from old and dried skins and the E.Z.N.A Tissue DNA Kit in DNA quality with ultraviolet spectrophotometer detection,agarose gel electrophoresis and PCR detection.The results showed that the method established in this paper was more effective,lower cost and simpler with higher and more stable DNA concentration,which could be utilized better for molecular biological experiments.
