Abstract：The fiber quality test data of the intermediate materials for transgenic insect -resistant cotton breeding from 2005 to 201 4 in Shandong Province were analyzed and compared with those in other main cotton production areas in China.The present status and main problems of cotton fiber quality breeding in Shandong Province were analyzed,and its main research directions were put forward.
