Abstract：CaRKNIF2 is a pepper WRKY gene which is induced by several biological factors such as root -knot nematode.But the related study is lacked in tomato and eggplant.The identification and character-ization analysis on genes of vegetable to root -knot nematode is the basis of molecular breeding.The ortholog genes of CaRKNIF2 were indentified from tomato and eggplant through comparative genomics method.And their structure,phylogeny,encoded protein motifs and cis elements were systematically studied.This study provided valuable information for further functional dissection of tomato and eggplant RKNIF2.
