Abstract:Lipoxygenases are important dioxygenases in cellular organisms.LOX genes contribute to plant development, biotic and abiotic stress tolerance.Eighteen AdLOX genes, named AdLOX1 ~18,were i-dentified from Arachis duranensis genome.Eighteen AiLOX genes, named AiLOX1 ~18,were identified from Arachis ipaёnsis genome.Among them, the coding sequences of AdLOX5,AdLOX7,AiLOX8 and AiLOX18 genes contained premature translational -termination codon, and the length of AiLOX9 gene was too short,it suggested that they were pseudogenes. The chromosomal location results showed that AdLOX and AiLOX genes mainly distributed in chromosome 2,3,6,8,9 and 1 0.The orthologous gene pairs located at the same or similar position in A.duranensis and A.ipaёnsis chromosomes, respectively.Functional study of LOX gene in other plant species and phylogenetic analysis indicated that AdLOX6,AdLOX9,AdLOX11,AdLOX12,Ad-LOX17,AiLOX1,AiLOX4,AiLOX6,AiLOX16 and AiLOX17 genes were possibly involved in plant disease re-sistance.Promoter analysis results also testified that. The gene selection pressure results indicated that AdLOX and AiLOX genes experienced purify selection during the evolutionary process.
