Abstract:In order to ascertain the application effects of microbial inoculants on flue -cured tobacco, with Zhongyan 100 as tested materials, the pot experiments with four different treatments were conducted to study the effects of different application amounts of microbial inoculants on the growth of flue -cured tobacco and key enzyme activities in leaves. The results showed that:① the growth and development of flue -cured to-bacco were promoted by applying microbial inoculants;the plant height, leaf number of single plant,maxi-mum leaf area and stem girth of T1,T2 and T3 treatments were significantly higher than those of the control (CK),especially in the middle and late period, the leaf number of single plant under T2 and T3 treatments were significantly higher than that of the control (CK).② The activity of antioxidant enzymes in flue -cured tobacco leaves were increased by applying microbial inoculants, and the content of peroxide substance in to-bacco leaves was reduced.Compared with the other treatments, the tobacco plants under T3 treatment grew well, had the highest SOD and POD activities and the lowest MDA content,so the best application amount of microbial inoculants was 21.0 g per pot for tobacco.
