Effects of Planting Density on Agronomic Characters and Yield of Soybean Cultivar Qihuang 34 under Late Sowing Condition

Abstract：In this paper,7 planting densities were designed to study their effects on the plant height, main stem node number,average stem diameter,number of effective branches,grains per plant,100 -grain weight and yield of Qihuang 34 under the late sowing condition.The results showed that with the increase of planting density,the plant height and 100 -grain weight increased gradually,the node number of main stem, stem diameter,number of effective branches and grains per plant decreased,the yield increased firstly and then decreased.The optimum planting density was 255 thousand plants per hectare for Qihuang 34.
