Analysis on Agronomic Characters of New Wheat Variety Rumai 1

Abstract：Rumai 1 was a new wheat variety with high and stable yield bred by Jining Academy of Agri-cultural Sciences in 2014.The yield and agronomic characters of Rumai 1 were analyzed using the data of multi -point regional trial in several years of Shandong Province.The results showed that the annual yield was stable,and the spike number per 666.7m2 and grain number per spike changed little annually,which indica-ted that they were less affected by the climate.The 1 000 -grain weight changed more largely,but maintained higher level.The yield was positively correlated with the effective spike number,grain number per spike, 1 000 -grain weight,growth period and ear number,except the largest tiller number.The correlation of yield with plant height and gain number per spike reached the significant and very significant levels respectively. The stable growth period meant the stable heading date and mature stage to avoid the late spring and safe ma-ture later.Rumai 1 should be planted in the high fertilizer -water fields.Application of jointing fertilizer and increasing grain number per spike were the effective measures to increase its yield.
