Abstract:Taking the flue -cured tobacco leaf samples C3F of different tobacco varieties from 8 main to-bacco growing areas as materials, the appearance quality, general chemical components and sensory quality were determined, and their correlations were analyzed. The results were as follows.(1)It had an extremely significant positive correlation between leaf structure and organic acid content. The maturity, leaf structure and appearance quality score showed significantly positive correlations with nicotine contents. The chroma and acid -base ratio displayed significantly negative correlation.(2)The significant positive correlation was found between color, maturity, leaf structure, identity and quantity of aroma, also between maturity, identity and combustibility, and between leaf structure and aroma concentration.(3)It showed significantly positive corre-lation between soft fineness, combustibility and organic acid content. The nicotine content and irritating ex-pressed significantly positive correlation. It showed significantly negative correlation between nicotine content and soot color. It showed significantly negative correlation between acid -base ratio and irritating, but signifi-cantly positive correlation between acid -base ratio and soot color. The aroma concentration showed signifi-cantly positive correlation with total nitrogen but significantly negative correlation with total sugar, and reduc-ing sugar. The study suggested that it was of great significance to guide the production of good tobacco through adjusting the content of nicotine, organic acid, sugar, total sugar, and total nitrogen, and controlling the ma-turity and thickness of tobacco leaf .
