Abstract:The tobacco cultivar K326 was used as material for this test .After treated with different con-centrations of Cd , its biomass at rosette stage , vigorous growing stage , topping stage , mature stage were deter-mined and also the mineral element contents in leaves .The results showed that the tobacco growth was inhibi-ted by higher concentrations of Cd but promoted by lower concentrations of Cd .The Cd absorption had better correlation with the accumulation of Mn , Zn and Cu in tobacco leaves , but had lower correlation with the ac-cumulation of Ca , Mg and Fe .
