Abstract:Taking transgenic early -maturity cotton variety Han 686 with diseases and pests resistance as material, six different treatments were set to study the planting effects of one and two plants per hole under dif -ferent densities .The results showed that the yield with one plant per hole was the highest under the density of 5 000 plants per 666.7m2 , and that was second with two plants per hole under the density of 6 000 plants per 666 .7 m2;the difference between them was not significant , and the latter was more labour saving .
