Effects of Different Application Rate of Organic Fertilizer on Pear Fruit Flavor Quality
Abstract：With two pear cultivars Nakai and Hongxiangsu as experimental materials, the single fruit weight, fruit firmness, soluble solid content and the components and contents of sugars and organic acids as de-termined after different level of organic fertilizer application, and the fruit flavor index was calculated as well. The results indicated that optimal organic fertilizer application rate could enhance the yield and sugar content of pear fruits, decrease the fruit firmness and organic acid content, so the fruit flavor could be improved.When the application rate of organic fertilizer was 2.7 t per 666.7m2 , the Nakai and Hongxiangsu pear achieved the largest single fruit weight, the lowest fruit firmness, the highest sweetness and the best flavor.
