Effects of Different Substrate Formula on Growth and Development of Pyrus calleryana

Abstract：Taking annual grafted seedling of Pyrus calleryana variety‘Capital’ as materials, the growth status, photosynthesis and root activity in 4 different substrate formulas were compared with garden soil as the control.The results showed that Pyrus calleryana grew better in substrates than that in garden soil , and the C substrate formula was more suitable for container cultivation of Pyrus calleryana.
