Identification of Drought Resistance of Summer Maize Cultivars in Shandong Province

Abstract：In order to select the suitable drought -resistant maize varieties for Shandong Province , the drought tolerance of 37 maize hydrids was assessed based on subordinate function values ( SV) and drought index (DI).The results showed that Ludan 9088, Liansheng 188, Tiantai 33 and Zhengdan 958 were the highest drought-resistant cultivars , Dongdan 60, Sanshui 218 and Jiyu 96 were medium drought-resistant cultivars , Deli-nong 988 and Denghai 661 were not drought-resistant cultivars, and the others were drought -sensitive cultivars.
