Screening of New Lentinus edodes Strains Efficiently Using Stalks

Abstract：The mononuclear mycelia were obtained from sporidia separated from fruiting bodies of two Lentinus edodes strains, Xianggu 8 and Xianggu L26.After mutagenized with ultraviolet radiation , they were hybridized .The Lentinus edodes strains utilizing stalk efficiently were screened out through microscopic exami-nation , antagonism test and cultured with corn stalk , then some of their biological properties were studied .In the obtained strains, X2, X5 and X6 grew better, but X6 had the highest yield.
