Evaluation on Cold Resistance of Pomegranate by Conductivity Method

Abstract：Choosing the main pomegranate varieties ‘Yichengdaqingpitian ’ and ‘Yichengsanbaitian ’ in Shandong Province as experiment materials , the cold resistance of pomegranate was determined by conductivity method .The results showed that the slice thickness of branches and vibrating time significantly affected the elec -trical conductivity .The sampling volume had bigger effects on initial conductance and eventual conductance but less influences on relative electrical conductivity .Finally, the optimal determination conditions were confirmed , which were the slice thickness of branches as 0.5 cm, vibrating time as 90 min and boiling 15 to 20 min.
