Induction of Hairy Roots of Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch and Condition Optimization

Abstract：Agrobacterium rhizogenes Accc10060 was used to infect the explants of Rehmannia glutinosa, then the influences of different bacterial concentrations, infection times and different co -culture times on hairy root induction rate were researched.The results showed that the hairy roots of R.glutinosa could be in-duced by A.rhizogenes Accc10060, and PCR detection results indicated that the rolC gene in Ri plasmid of A.rhizogenes had integrated into the genome of R.glutinosa and been expressed.The results of single factor experiment showed that the best induction conditions of hairy roots were OD600 as 0.6, infecting for 10 minutes and co-culturing for 4 days.
