Effect of 6-BA Concentration on Callus Induction of Rosa chinensis

Abstract：Taking red big flower rose stem segments without bud as explants, the effect of different con-centrations of 6-BA on callus induction were studied in this paper.The results showed that appropriate con-centration of 6-BA could significantly promote the induction rate, growth amount and growth rate.When the 6-BA concentration was 1.5 mg/L, the callus induction rate and growth amount reached the highest as 94%and 0.9706 g per bottle respectively.The optimum medium for callus induction of red big flower rose was MS+0.5 mg/L NAA +1.5 mg/L 6-BA.
