Influences of Low Temperature Stress on Two Physiological Indexes Related to Cold Resistance of Phyllostachys glauca
Abstract:With Phyllostachys glauca leaves from 13 regions as materials, the relative conductivity and proline content were measured after treated at 0, -5, -10, -15, -20, -25℃.The semi-lethal temper-ature of Phyllostachys glauca leaves was calculated with the relative conductivity by the Logistic equation . Through the analysis of proline content and semi -lethal temperature , the physiological and biochemical indi-cators related to cold resistance were analyzed comprehensively to speculate the cold resistance of Phyllostachys glauca from different regions .The cold resistance of Phyllostachys glauca from Yantai Academy of Forestry , Yantai Kunyu Mountain and Weifang were stronger , that from Rizhao, Yiyuan, Dongying, Jinan, Linyi, Jiao-nan and Taian were medium , and that from Zhejiang , Jiangxi and Jiangsu were the weakest .
