Effect of Sunlight on Chemical Components of FLOS LONICERAE JAPONICAE

Abstract：The change of chemical components in FLOS LONICERAE JAPONICAE was determined after direct radiation in sunlight .The results showed that the contents of moisture , soluble sugars , chlorophyll , chlorogenic acid , loganin and luteolin-7-O-glucoside all decreased gradually after sunshine .The decrease amount varied in different components with increase of sunlight time .The content of chlorophyll dropped the most, and then the luteolin-7-O-glucoside.In conclusion, sunlight made great effects on quality of FLOS LONICERAE JAPONICAE ,so it should be stored in dark .
