Effects of Ridge Tillage and Planting Density on Cotton Yield and Related Agronomic Traits

Abstract：The two-factor split plot experiment was conducted to study the effects of ridge tillage and planting density on cotton yield and related agronomic characters with convention planting as check .The re-sults showed that ridge tillage changed the correlation between yield related agronomic traits , and increased the average yield by 12 .35% compared to convention planting .There was excellent interaction effect between planting density and ridge tillage , which improved cotton canopy structure .
