Abstract:The effects of the different densities and harvest time on dry matter rate and anthocyanin con-tent of sweet potato were studied with ningzi 2-2 as experiment material and by randomized block design .The results showed that the planting density and harvest time affected the dry matter rate , dried sweet potato yield and relative anthocyanin content .With the growth period prolonging , the dry matter rate of all planting density treatments increased with decreased difference .The dried sweet potato yield increased with increase of planting density and prolonging of growth period .The relative anthocyanin content was the highest in earlier growth stage and the lowest in middle growth stage , then it improved but decreased at the late growth stage .
