Establishment of Regeneration Systems of Different Peanut Varieties

Abstract：The 4-day old epicotyl and leaflet of 4 peanut varieties were used as explants to study the plant regeneration system through cultured on the MS medium with different hormones .The results showed that there were significant differences in regeneration ability between different genotypes of peanut .Xianghua 2008 and Zhonghua 8 had higher induction rate of adventitious bud , seedling rate and rooting rate .The kanamycin concentration for screening of Xianghua 2008 and Zhonghua 8 was ascertained as 200 mg/L in bud induction medium, which could efficiently inhibit the formation of adventitious buds from leaflets .
