Application Effect of Zinc on Summer Maize in Northern Shandong and Its Affecting Factors

Abstract：The effectiveness of applying zinc fertilizer on summer maize and its relative influencing fac-tors were studied through field test during 2010~2012.The results showed that applying zinc in cinnamon tide soil of northern Shandong Province could generally increase corn yield by 14.3%;the effect of basic fertiliza-tion of zinc at 1.0~2.0 kg per 666.7m2 was the best.For foliage spraying,0.20%zinc sulfate had the best effect,and applying at seedling and jointing stages could obtain better effect.When the soil available zinc content was below 0.6 mg/kg,the application of zinc fertilizer had stable yield increasing effect.
