Effects of Nitro Controlled-Release Fertilizer on Growth,Yield and Quality of Potato

Abstract：The plot experiment was conducted in field to study the effects of different nitrate nitrogen contents in nitro controlled-release fertilizers (nitro CRFs)on potato growth,yield and quality.The results indicated that compared with the farmer’s conventional fertilization and normal CRF,the nitro CRFs could ef-fectively promote the growth,leaf SPAD value and dry matter accumulation of potato,thereby increasing the rate of big tuber,tuber weight per plant and economic yield.Among which,the nitrate nitrogen content of nitro CRFs as 4% was the best,and it could increase the potato yield by 12.5% and 6.8% compared with the farmer’s conventional fertilization and normal CRF.In addition,the application of nitro CRFs could also im-prove the quality of potato tubers,such as increasing the content of starch,crude protein,reducing sugar and VC,but had no significant influence on nitrate content.
