Abstract:Different planting densities and fertilization modes of red -flower marked hybrid cotton Lu 05 H9 were studied in Luxi area .The results showed that , under clay soil and medium soil fertility conditions , Lu 05 H9 had the highest net income when the planting density was 36 000 per hectare and the fertilizer appli-cation amount was 750 kg/hm2 .The seed and lint cotton yields of slow controlled release fertilization had no significant difference to that of conventional fertilization , but the fiber quality improved .This planting pattern conformed to the demand of simplified cultivation of cotton .
