Genetic Diversity Analysis of Juglans hopeiensis Hu by SSR Markers

Abstract：The genetic diversity of 20 Juglans hopeiensis Hu varieties was analyzed by simple sequence repeat ( SSR) markers.Six pairs of primers were selected for formal PCR amplification .Fifty-two genetic lo-ci including 50 polymorphic loci were detected with the polymorphic locus percentage as 96%.Genetic simi-larity analysis showed that there were abundant genetic diversities among different walnut varieties .The genetic similarity coefficients ranged from 0.17 to 0.90, which indicated that the 20 walnut varieties could be com-pletely separated by these SSR markers .UPGMA cluster results showed that they were divided into 4 catego-ries when the similarity coefficient was 0.61.
