Abstract：The study on the nitrogen absorbing ratio, physiological utilization ratio and utilization ratio of peanut varieties with different botany characters was conducted with pot culture method and 15N tracer technique. fne result demonstrated that the nitrogen absorbing ratio, physiological utilization ratio and utilization ratio had significant differences among different types and varieties, with vining small kernel type (variety hirsuta Kohler)Xiyangsheng higheast, over four times higher than the lowest multiple kernel type Silihong. The partition of absorbed nitrogen to different organs had significant difference among different types and varieties. The nitrogen amount distributed to reproductive organ for the middle type Luhua3 was highest, 73.92% higher than the lowest Silihong.The pod yield of Xiyangsheng was over four times higher than that of Silihong.
