Research on the efficiency of Guangxi information industry based on the three stage DEA model

Abstract：information industry has become a pillar industry in this century, and its efficiency will affect the output of the industry. There are some differences in the efficiency of information industry in different regions of our country. In this paper, we apply the three stage DEA method to measure the efficiency of the information industry in Guangxi. Research shows that the overall efficiency of the information industry in most region of Guangxi is high, while there are some differences in the efficiency of different regions. This shows that the impact of the external environment on the efficiency of the information industry is more significant. Local government departments should strive to improve the industrial environment, the human resources allocation, the effective use of information, and effectively promote the technical efficiency of the information industry, so as to promote the development of information industry.
