Virtualization Technology in Building A Network of Experimental Teaching Environment

Abstract：Technical staff found that colleges and universities for teaching server computing resources is not really long time at full load, a lot of times the server CPU utilization is very low, even less than 10%. How to improve resource utilization, improve resource allocation and reduce input costs, is one of the important objectives of the university management to pursue. This paper introduces the server virtualization technology, through the deployment of technology, can effectively improve the management of infrastructure, greatly reducing the administrative workload, saving server administration and maintenance costs, but also enhance the business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities.
