Design of The Wireless Portable Bedside Admission-discharge System Based on HMIS

Abstract：In recent years, the treatment is very complex, and admission-discharge procedures are very tedious, so patients go through the formalities for long time cost and need to go to many departments. For solving these problems, we designed a portable bedside admission-discharge system. This system included a high configuration movable workstation and an electrombile, and we designed a man-machine interface system which can be operated simply and easily. The system can interact with the central database of the hospital through the wireless network,moreover, it integrates the function of admission-discharge register,pricing and fees collection and so on. The workstation is installed in the electrombile, which is equipped with an on-board strongbox, GPRS, POS machine, currency count machine, printer and other necessary equipment.
