Research and Application of Photo's Annotation Based on Semantic

Abstract：With the widely application of digital camera, the large amount of photos has led to demand for more effective photo management and retrieval technology. The traditional keyword-based retrieval and content-based retrieval technologies can not meet the user's need well;consequently, semantic-based retrieval have begun to attract more research interest. This paper analyzed the method of semantic retrieval based ontology, researches and implements the semantic retrieval algorithm, and used for photo retrieval sub system based semantic. On the base, also offers three interesting and effective functions for retrieval and management. The results show that the system can meet the requirements of users on the semantic retrieval basically.
