Abstract：With the development of the construction of digital oilfield, the short range communication technology based on Zigbee is widely used in oilfield. This paper introduced the application of Zigbee technology in oil well production measurement remote monitoring system, and analysised the characteristics and advantages of Zigbee technology and the prospects of the application in oil ifeld.
