The Research and Application of Cutting to Length Redundant System in Slab Caster

Abstract：In general, a set of independent measuring roller device for cutting to length during slab production. The cutting to length redundant system was proposed in this paper. The encoder in withdrawal straightening roll was used to measure slab length in cutting to length redundant system which has more accurate rate and lower failure rate. This technology has a broad application in the slab production.
