The Research and Application of Control System for Converter Tilting

Abstract：In this paper ,the control design of the 120 tons BOF converter tilting system in laiwu iron& steel group was introduced.The computer control system of the converter tilting and software structure of control system was introduced in detail,in the same time the vector control program was carried out to explore research.This paper presents a new control method of tilting furnace.Our method differs from traditional master-control methods:Through the communication between PLC and Variable-frequency Drive, non-disturbance shifting among the master-slave control and speed control is realized, and finally realize the steady stopping in stopping system of converter tilting system.
