Abstract:The understanding of Bi disease in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has a long history.Throughout history, medical experts have offered varying interpretations of the etiology and patho-genesis of Bi disease based on the characteristics of the environmental conditions of their respective eras, which has led to the gradual improvement of the treatment of Bi disease in TCM.By systematically analyzing the impacts of climate and social environ-ments across different historical periods on the evolution of the pathogenesis of Bi disease, this article delves into the roles of factors such as climate change, seasonal alternation, temperature, humidity, sunshine, diet, and emotional stress in the occurrence and development of Bi disease. It elucidates the development context of the theory of Bi disease, emphasizes the characteristics of syndrome differentiation and treatment of Bi disease under different climate and social environments, and offers a theoretical foundation for the prevention and treatment of Bi disease in the contemporary environment. There are 65 references.
