Abstract:Bone is one of the common metastatic sites of lung cancer. In patients with lung cancer, due to the invasion of the lungs by cancer toxins, the disease spreads from the mother-organ(lung)to the child-organ(kidney),resulting in deficiency of the kidney and inadequate nourishment for the bones.Meanwhile, cancer toxins can directly damage the kidneys and bones, and then the condition progresses to the state of"extreme bone weakness".Combining with the"extreme bone weakness"theory, this article starts from the"lung-kidney-bone"axis to systematically explore the correlations between qi deficiency of lung and kidney, kidney deficiency, bone malnutrition and factors such as circulating tumor cells(CTCs),immune cells,epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT),and pre-metastatic niche(PMN)in the microenvironment of bone metastasis in lung cancer. It also analyzes the application of the method of tonifying the kidney and strengthening the body resistance in the prevention and treatment of bone metastasis in lung cancer, providing ideas for traditional Chinese medicine intervention in bone metastasis in lung cancer.
